A post caught my eye recently while I was looking at other motivational blogs. Meredith Bell, author of the Your Voice of Encouragement blog, recounted a story from her career. She began a new job working for an excellent boss who encouraged her to be creative and gave her a lot of free reign. A year later, she had a very different boss and was miserable in the job she had previously loved. So she decided to make a change.
“A wise mentor once told me,” she wrote, “that we’re only motivated to change when the unknown looks better than the known.”
Does the unknown look better than the known for you right now? Check out the full post here: http://www.yourvoiceofencouragement.com/2012/01/courage-to-make-change.html
